To ensure that the promise was continued in Northern Indiana many people worked to bring Susan G. Komen for the Cure to our area. Through the hard work and dedication of many local survivors and activists, the Northern Indiana Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure became a reality in August 2006.
